Who gets a shot—and surprises—in 2019? This remains the AL West club with the most MLB-ready talent glut, even after a season of surprising MLB production in stretches from the likes of Max Stassi, Tony Kemp, and Tyler White in 2018. Position-wise, Kyle Tucker looks primed to get extended AB somewhere, but this one is obvious. Less clear is what happens to the likes of J.D. Davis (1B/3B, HOU)—.988 OPS through 333 AB at AAA-Fresno—or outfielder Derek Fisher (10 HR, 11/1 SB/CS, 39 BB through 239 Triple-A AB. Or A.J. Reed (1B, HOU), now with 62 HR over the past two seasons in Fresno and seemingly an attractive platoon/power option vs RHP. These names are all now in their mid-20s and would all be seeing more AB on second-tier...
