We'd tabbed David Hensley (2B, HOU) over Mauricio Dubón (2B/SS/OF, HOU) as the club's primary (and most fantasy friendly) off-the-bench infield utility, as spring training was beginning and well before José Altuve sustained a fractured thumb during the World Baseball Classic. That take emanated from a combination of Dubón's mediocre track record (an empty .227 career BA vR), the skills that Hensley had flashed in 2022 and in the minors—and legitimate bottom-of-the-lineup offensive questions in HOU. Flash forward three weeks later, and it's Dubón with the large majority of 2B starts, essentially becoming the club's primary Altuve replacement. For us, the oft-repeated takeaway here is to never underestimate h% fortune...
