PT TOMORROW: AL West—Closer watch on in TEX?

Texas Rangers

As long as closer Sam Dyson (RHP, TEX) continued to get the job done with scarcely a hiccup, few observers were too concerned about his declining SwK and Dom. But now in August, Dyson has blown two saves and been scored upon in four of his past seven outings, allowing five runs in his last seven IP.  Dyson continues to generate a big GB%, but his control isn't what it was in May and June, and the results have been disappointing. Whether fatigue or just a blip, the post-season is in sight and the Rangers will likely will likely to give Dyson a breather or change things up if he's unable to arrest his slide immediately from here.

The good news is that the Rangers have plenty of relievers currently getting the job...
