As we've noted often in this space—most recently last week—in contrast to its stellar pitching, SEA's offense is currently 11th in AL runs, with the OF being the glaring weakness. And now dead last in July scoring headed into the break and suddenly losing their best offensive-performing OF Michael Saunders indefinitely to an oblique strain, the Mariners need for an OF bat has become even more urgent.
