The additions of Teoscar Hernández and Kolten Wong improve a postseason club that finished 18th in MLB scoring, but this remains a contender built around a fine rotation and elite bullpen. And along with continued offensive depth questions, the organization has enough pitching talent to anticipate more player movement this season. 

There's been no talk of a six-man rotation, which leaves the #5 rotation spot a battle between lefty Marco Gonzales and Chris Flexen, both legitimate backend SPs who have figured prominently in the SEA rotation in recent seasons. Both are under Mariner control for the next the foreseeable future, and both have kept their high-3/low-4 ERAs in check despite significantly worse...
