Much has been written lately about the churn (and frequent disappointment) in the back end of the Orioles starting rotation, but less electronic ink has been spilled on the yeoman work done by the Baltimore bullpen. The team has been missing top set-up man Darren O’Day (RHP, BAL) since the first week of June when he was placed on the disabled list for a hamstring strain, and there is not yet a timetable for his return. The Orioles also said goodbye to their left-handed specialist Brian Matusz (LHP, CHC) in mid-May, and have soldiered on without a late inning lefty since.
