The Baseball Forecaster called him a “good bet to rebound.” Based on his barrel rate, batting skills analyst Stephen Nickrand highlighted his “power upside,” “strong speed skills” and “30-30 potential.” The Red Sox clearly believed as well, installing him as their leadoff hitter.

But two weeks into a 10-week season, fantasy GMs are still waiting for the Andrew Benintendi (OF, BOS) comeback to begin. 

Benintendi has looked out of sync, to which his contact and hard contact rates attest. Manager Ron Roenicke has thus far been inclined to let Benintendi try to work out of his funk, allowing him to make the final out in with the bases loaded in a 5-1 loss to the Rays on August 4, for example (not that Roenicke’s bench, which...
