PT TOMORROW: AL EAST — Lineup shakeups in 2016

Boston Red Sox

Though new president of baseball operations David Dombrowski may have other ideas, the Red Sox could open the season in 2016 with many of the same faces in the lineup, if not in the same places.

Rusney Castillo (OF, BOS), Mookie Betts (OF, BOS) and Jackie Bradley Jr. (OF, BOS) should open the season in the team’s outfield; the only question is who is in which spot, as each has centerfield experience. The early returns on Castillo’s work with the Green Monster have been good, so he may be ticketed for left, while Bradley’s superior arm may make him a better fit than Betts in right. But one way or another, the trio should secure the bulk of 2016 outfield ABs if they continue to hit. And hit they all have in the second...

Almost!
