The Twins named Robbie Grossman (OF, MIN) their DH and sent both Byung Ho Park (1B, MIN) and Kennys Vargas (1B, MIN) to minor league camp. Park's move was somewhat of a surprise, but Vargas' really wasn't.

It was an interesting 2016 debut for Park, pictured above. He punched 22 HR between MIN and Triple-A Rochester but batted .191 (215 AB, 63% ct%) for the Twins and .224 (116 AB, 72% ct%) for the Red Wings. After August surgery to repair a finger tendon, it appeared the operation and rest may have helped him post an 18-for-51 effort (six HR, 15 K, six BB) in spring 2017.
