PT TOMORROW: AL Central—J.D. Martinez a potential power source?

Detroit Tigers

J.D. Martinez (OF, DET) started five games in a row while Torii Hunter (OF, DET) was recovering from a hamstring strain. Manager Brad Ausmus has said that he is considering a four-outfielder rotation when Hunter returns. Hunter, Austin Jackson (OF, DET), and Rajai Davis (OF, DET) could all lose some AB if Martinez establishes a place in the outfield rotation. The situation will get even more complicated when Andy Dirks (OF, DET) returns. Dirks is expected to go on a minor league rehab assignment very soon.
