While the Chicago Cubs have received a lot of attention this off-season, their cross-town rivals have done more to improve their team. Five of the White Sox top 11 players ranked by 2014 AB have departed.

One of the newcomers  is steady veteran Adam LaRoche (1B, CHW). While he may not excite many fantasy owners, LaRoche will likely split time with José Abreu (1B, CHW) at 1B and DH, but will get nearly full-time AB. LaRoche has hit 20+ HR every season since 2005 with the exception of an injury-shortened 2011. He may not be a sexy name, but at 35 years old, he shows no signs of slowing down.
