Myles Straw (OF, CLE) provides outstanding defense in center field, but after posting a respectable .271/.349/.348 line a season ago, he hasn't hit at all this season. His slash line has dipped all the way down to .199/.274/.251, and since the beginning of August he is sporting a laughable .225 OPS. (Even a .225 OBP would be disqualifying!) Straw has sat atop the depth chart in center field all season but his grasp on the job may be slipping, as Wednesday marked his 2nd straight game on the bench.
