It was a quiet Winter Meetings for the Royals, though they had been fairly active in the weeks leading up to the event. They added Jonathan India (2B, CIN) in a trade by dealing away Brady Singer, but helped offset the loss of Singer by re-signing Michael Wacha (RHP, KC) on a three-year deal. 

More moves are likely coming in the weeks ahead, as General Manager J.J. Picollo fills out the roster ahead of Opening Day. One particular item on his wish list that he has alluded to multiple times is adding a third baseman, primarily one that hits from the left side of the plate.
