PT TOMORROW: AL Central - What happens in Cleveland when Quantrill returns?

Cleveland Guardians

Cal Quantrill (RHP, CLE) got lit up in a rehab start against Toledo last week but rebounded with a solid outing against the same team, allowing 1 ER in 3.2 IP while punching out four in the second matchup. It's not clear yet if he'll make another start in the minors or if his next outing will be in Cleveland. Quantrill has had a rough season to date, with a 6.45 ERA, 12% K%, and 5.53 xERA through 13 starts. He will likely slot back into the rotation once he's deemed ready, but expectations should remain tempered.

The team hasn't indicated whether they will move to a six-man rotation once Quantrill is back. Doing so would help limit the workload of their talented young starters, but sticking with a five-man rotation...

Almost!
