PT TOMORROW: AL Central - Kirilloff inching closer to activation

Alex Kirilloff (1B, MIN) is currently on a rehab assignment and has been red hot so far, with 10 hits in 22 AB, including a couple of homers. He appears ready for a return and is expected to be activated soon. Kirilloff will at least serve as a strong side platoon at either first base, where he has played 56 games this year, or a corner outfield spot, where he has made 21 appearances.

It remains to be seen if Kirilloff will play vs lefties, against whom he has a .470 OPS in 50 PA with a 12% h% playing a large role in the small sample struggles. For his career he is sporting a .630 OPS vs southpaws in 151 PA, with a 24% h% and 82 PX.
