Who will emerge as the Diamondbacks closer?

Diamondbacks manager Tory Lovullo hasn’t been shy in his desire to have an established end-game option, so it stands to reason he’s looking to avoid the “closer by committee” shuffle if at all possible. But for someone who wants a clear “guy” at the back of the bullpen, Lovullo to this point has been anything but clear about who his choice will be.

The January 29th NL West PT Tomorrow largely dismissed Andrew Saalfrank’s potential role in the closer mix in favor of Kevin Ginkel and Ryan Thompson.
