NL West: Can Tovar rediscover his form?

Since Ezequiel Tovar’s breakout season in 2024, fantasy managers have been waiting for the Rockies shortstop to be the kind of player who can carry a team. But injuries and poor play have plagued the former coveted prospect ever since, and this season has been frankly awful. After 203 PA, Tovar is hitting a meager .214 with 2 HR, 14 R, 16 RBI, and 3 SB. His .266 OBP and 6% BB% (contrasted with a 26% K%, yikes) put him at risk of being unplayable for most MLB franchises. Fortunately for him, though, Colorado doesn’t have a deep stable of options to replace him.
