NL Central: Luis Lara joins the first place Brewers

The best team in the NL Central is showing no signs of slowing down as baseball barrels towards the All Star Break. Milwaukee has the second-best record in all of baseball, trailing only the Dodgers. They have the best pitcher in baseball in Jacob Misiorowski, who looks like a cheat code from a video game that developers would ultimately reprogram in the interest of fairness. Now they've called up one of their top prospects, 21-year-old switch-hitting outfielder, Luis Lara.

Lara is one of the handful of minor league players who signed an extension before taking a big league at-bat this season. He really broke out at Triple-A this season with a .321/.432/.470 slash line over 346 plate appearances his first time through...
