NL Central: Has MIL found another pitching gem?

One of the features of the recent perennial National League Central Champion Brewers is a knack for identifying and developing pitching. That’s true for starters like Freddy Peralta, Corbin Burnes, and Brandon Woodruff, as well as for relievers like Josh Hader, Devin Williams, and Abner Uribe. Whether he winds up in a starting or relief role, there are early signs the Brewers may have done it again with trade acquisition Shane Drohan.

Drohan has logged the most innings of any pitcher in Brewers camp as of Thursday morning. The 27-year-old lefty has thrown 8.2 innings in three appearances with 10 strikeouts to just two walks. He’s given up three runs, all earned on six hits. Admittedly, 8.2 innings is a vanishingly...
