The Cubs are coming off a rare series loss against the San Francisco Giants this week and are heading into a three-game match-up against the NL East-leading New York Mets in Queens. But perhaps worse than losing a couple of games that were well within reach to the Giants, the Cubs lost their best starting pitcher, Shōta Imanaga, to the injured list with a mild hamstring strain.
