While fifth starter Carmen Mlodzinski has held a rotation spot since Opening Day, it hasn't been exactly pretty. Mlodzinski has a 6.58 ERA in the 26 innings he's pitched through six starts, although his 3.52 FIP and 3.67 xFIP both suggest he's gotten a little unlucky in that time. He's only made it through five innings twice so far on the young season, and while he may have gotten a bit unlucky, the Pirates have options they can turn to in Triple-A.
