After a year of rumors, the Cardinals finally traded Tyler O’Neill (OF, BOS). That may not fix their problems with a crowded lineup, however, as there would likely need to be one more subtraction from their current roster to provide true clarity for player roles.  Outfield remains the primary focus. Lars Nootbaar (OF, STL) and Jordan Walker (OF, STL) figure to have two of three spots locked in. That leaves a combination Tommy Edman (2B/SS/OF, STL), Alec Burleson (OF, STL), and Brendan Donovan (2B/OF, STL) for one outfield spot as well as second base. Dylan Carlson (OF, STL) could also factor in, though he was on the outside looking in before his 2023 season came to a premature end in the middle of...
