DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL Central—Will pitching injuries bring prospects?

In a roster move that could have far-reaching implications, the Brewers placed Chris Narveson (LHP, MIL) on the DL with a sprained middle finger. Narveson is expected to miss 4-6 weeks. To replace him on the roster, the Brewers recalled Blake Lalli (C/1B, MIL) from AAA Nashville. Lalli will give the Brewers much needed bench depth, although his playing time should be limited.
