DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: AL Central—The Michael Bourn dominoes

Last week's signing of Michael Bourn (OF, CLE) will have a domino effect on positional projections (and some playing time projections) for the Indians. Bourn will be the centerfielder, shifting Drew Stubbs (OF, CLE) to RF. Nick Swisher (1B/OF, CLE) moves to 1B, and Mark Reynolds (1B, CLE) will see most of his action at DH. The other player impacted is Carlos Santana (C/DH/1B) who will play less 1B and DH than last year and will primarily be a catcher. Overall, Stubbs, Swisher, and Santana will probably not lose playing time, but will accumulate ABs at positions different than originally projected. Santana may not repeat his qualification at three positions this year. Reynolds could lose playing time as he becomes...
