With Rendon already injured and seemingly out for the season, another third baseman will again take over for the Angels. Yoán Moncada is the likely winner of the Opening Day role, but there is a top prospect who may get his chance at third base sooner rather than later.

The Angels' first-round pick from 2024, 22-year-old Christian Moore, may get his chance to shine with strong spring training.
