AL West: Gelof on the move again?

Athletics

The A’s will have one of their regulars returning from the IL soon. Max P. Muncy began a rehab assignment as he’s recovering from a fracture in his left hand. He was doing okay to start the season, but it seemed the underlying potential was what kept people excited about a Muncy breakout. Before the injury, Muncy was hitting .239 with a .217 xBA. He was striking out 35.6% of the time with a 59% ct% and 49% GB%. The power potential is what got people excited. Muncy only had two home runs, but a 134 PX and 129 xPX suggest a lot of power potential. When Muncy comes back, how could the A’s infield situation shake out?

Zack Gelof has been filling in at 3B for Muncy, and has been doing well. He’s hitting .259 on the season...
