AL West: Emerson's call-up looming in Seattle

The Mariners entered the season with one of their top prospects, Colt Emerson, knocking on the door, but he started the season at AAA. Emerson hit .268 over 47 spring plate appearances with two home runs and a steal. He’s had a strong start this season at AAA, hitting .265 with four doubles, a home run, and two steals. The stats may not be jumping off the table, but Emerson and the Mariners are both champing at the bit to get him on the big league roster.
