Tampa Bay seemingly positioned itself as sellers in the week leading up to the trade deadline and has traded away two lineup stalwarts, Randy Arozarena and Isaac Paredes, while acquiring Christopher Morel to fill one spot in its regular lineup. Tampa Bay’s lineup could undergo further exodus in the time between this writing and the trade deadline, as infielders Yandy Díaz, Brandon Lowe, and Amed Rosario all have been the subject of trade rumors. (Ed.—Indeed, Rosario was traded to the Dodgers late Monday.)

Tampa Bay trading away some of its infielders could initially open up auditions for a slew of players who have already seen time for the team this season, including recent call-up Curtis Mead and Austin Shenton....
