The last time that we examined New York’s outfield in this space, the team was in the aftermath of Aaron Judge’s placement on the IL. At the time, it looked like a decision was looming between Spencer Jones, who was called up to replace Judge, and Jasson Domínguez, who looked to be nearing a return from the IL. However, Trent Grisham’s hamstring strain opened the door for both players to coexist on the active roster, as has been the case since Dominguez replaced Grisham on the active roster on June 13.
