What happens to the rest of the lineup if Kevin McGonigle makes the team?

Answer: Pretty much what we expected… except for one thing we didn't

The news didn't break until late Tuesday morning, but the Tigers are indeed calling up the 21-year-old McGonigle, widely considered to be one of the best prospects in baseball. Going 11-for-44 (.250) with 2 HR, an .888 OPS, 2 SB, a 16% Barrel%, and a very impressive 11 walks to 9 Ks this spring helped convince Detroit he was ready. His upside for 2026 could be 20+ HR and double-digit SB, though his BA might lag behind.
