When you consider that fantasy baseball amounts to a series of decisions that hinge on our best interpretations of representative data, nothing encapsulates this more than the FAAB bidding process. Fantastic work has been done on this site to help us apply analytical methods in evaluating our targets to create more efficient bids. This player-by-player, team-by-team, league-by-league approach is extremely useful on a micro level, but what could we learn if we attempt to step back and look at this process from a macro level? This article will explore some insights we might gain from a distance.
