Early 2027 targets

Our last SP Buyers Guide column of the regular season will point you towards early 2027 targets.

Here are a bunch starting pitchers that have a good shot at providing profit in 2027, along with some quick hits on SP prospects from the minors who could provide good MLB value at some point in 2027.


AMERICAN LEAGUE

Kade Anderson (LHP, SEA) had one of the most dominating seasons in the high-minors in recent memory, posting a crazy 135/13 K/BB in 93 IP at Double-A prior to his promotion to the Mariners. He hasn't been dominant during his two starts in Seattle, but that's a tiny sample size. His excellent raw stuff and elite ability to throw strikes provides Anderson with the tools to dominate MLB bats.
