F/F SPOTLIGHT: Eduardo Rodriguez

Wow, Eduardo Rodriguez (LHP, DET)! That’s a great start to the season (currently #5 fantasy pitcher). If you rostered him, you’re happy at this point, as he’s succeeded everyone’s expectations. It was a rough couple of years for him; after battling COVID and heart issues in 2020, he muscled through 2021 only to have to miss a large chunk of time in 2022 for personal reasons. With solid years in 2018 and 2019, he struggled up until this year. Is he back? Better than ever? Or a fluke?

Let’s start with the basics…

Year   IP   ERA  WHIP  xERA   K%  BB%  K-BB%   SwK%  xBB%  Ball%  Vel.  H%/S%
====  ===  ====  ====  ====  ===  ===  =====  =====  ====  =====  ====  =====
2017  137  4.19  1.28  4.26  26%   9%    17%  11.9%      ...
