F/F SPOTLIGHT: Alec Bohm

For a fanbase that has witnessed several top position player prospects flame out in recent years (such as Adam Haseley (OF, CHW), Scott Kingery (INF, PHI), and Mickey Moniak (OF, PHI)—tho the jury still slightly out on Moniak) Alec Bohm (3B, PHI) looked like another disappointment in 2021. After a great rookie year in 2020 that exceeded even the lofty expectations that were put on Bohm’s broad shoulders, he fell apart in 2021, falling as low as being demoted to AAA so that the Phillies could start Ronald Torreyes at 3B in a playoff race. Bohm has bounced back, however, so far in 2022 and looks similar to his 2020 form:

Year AB HR BA/xBA HctX bb% k% ct% PX/xPX HR/F GB%/LD%/FB%/PU%
