FACTS/FLUKES: J.D. Martinez, Villar, Ramos, Zobrist, Perdomo

Martinez mashing the ball … After launching 38 HR in 2015, J.D. Martinez (OF, ARI) finished an injury-shortened 2016 campaign with 22 HR in 460 AB, leaving many to wonder which level was real. Despite not making his 2017 debut until May 12 due to a sprained Lisfranc ligament in his right foot, he has 21 HR in just 235 AB. Can he keep this torrid pace?
