FACTS/ FLUKES: Bumgarner, Adams, Jansen, LeMahieu, Cole

Bumgarner assumes ace role ... Since his debut at age 19, Madison Bumgarner (LHP, SF) has played second fiddle to a couple of fellow Giants starters named Lincecum and Cain. But with the best ERA, WHIP and wins among starters on the San Francisco staff, it's hard to argue that Bumgarner himself has now emerged as club's ace.
