Mauer's stock takes a hit ... Not only did the lowly Twins lose 96 games for the second year in a row last season, but they also lost their franchise catcher...to another position. Joe Mauer's (1B, MIN) August concussion convinced team brass to shuffle him to first base in '14, where he's less likely to suffer a similar injury.
