This week we are doing all video looks, as I have not been able to get out to Coney Island yet this year. While I anticipate doing that, for now we are taking video looks at some interesting guys in A ball, including two top prospects and one potential sleeper on the rise.
Seth Hernandez (RHP, Pittsburgh Pirates, 19 years old)
Hernandez was the 6th overall pick in the 2025 draft and showed a lot of why he was picked that high, and why he is currently way too good to be in A ball. This is unfair level of dominance of a level, with a 1.23 ERA and 41 K in 22 IP.
Hernandez is skinny with a medium frame at 6’4”, 190 lbs, and I would take the under on his weight. He has a long unwinding delivery and high ¾ arm slot, almost looking like a...
