Ethan Salas and Josue De Paula

Youth is exciting when it comes to prospects, particularly when they come with their own hype. There are perhaps no two teenagers in the California League more hyped up than the Padres' Ethan Salas and the Dodgers' Josue De Paula. Both show advancement beyond their years in some respects. The excitement is one thing, but it's more important to see how these young guys play against the best competition they've seen to this point in their lives. 

Ethan Salas (C, SD) - At 17-years-old I was worried about writing a paper for my ninth period history class. Salas, however, just turned 17 at the beginning of the month and he's playing Single-A baseball. When he debuted for Lake Elsinore on May 30, he was still a 16-year-old. It's mind boggling...
