This week I spent a lot of time video scouting the Clearwater Threshers, which is the Phillies A ball team. There was one clear guy who was a big prospect, while a few other guys showed themselves to be possible role players.

Ramon Marquez (RHP, Philadelphia Phillies, 20 years old)

Ramon Marquez has been a bit of a pop up prospect in the Phillies farm system this year, as he has carried momentum from a strong 4 start A ball debut in 2025 into 2026. He is a medium build RHP, at 6’2” 182 pounds, who will add some weight/strength as he matures, but does not have huge projection left in his body.
