2026 Spring training scouting notebook: Volume 3

All full-season affiliates have begun their regular seasons, yet I still have more than twenty players left over from my Spring Training looks. Some—like John Gil (SS, ATL) and several Red Sox arms—will be saved for in-season coverage, as I’ll see them early in the year. Others can be covered now. As a result, we’re extending the Spring Training Scouting Notebook for an additional week. Instead of wrapping the series today, we’ll push it to a fourth installment next week, particularly since I don’t expect to see live baseball again until the week of the 13th.
