MINORS: September Impact Call-Ups

As big league clubs prepare to expand their rosters, we take a look at potential September call-ups with enough upside to make a fantasy impact. While a handful of elite prospects have already made their MLB debut, few have established themselves as everyday regulars. Oscar Taveras (OF, STL), Gregory Polanco (OF, PIT), and Javier Báez (2B, CHC) have struggled in their initial exposure to big-league pitching, and Polanco was sent back to Triple-A Indianapolis in the past week.
As a result, fantasy owners fortunate enough to be in contention for league titles can still find rookies who will make an impact in September. The single biggest determining factor will be playing time. The most talented prospect in the world isn’t going to do...
