MINORS: News and Notes—August 24, 2013

With just a week to go in the 2013 minor league regular season, we take a quick tour around the minors to see who has been hot heading down the stretch. A strong finish could earn some top prospects a September call-up. Jeremy Delony, Chris Mallonee, and Colby Garrapy will continue to provide timely scouting reports on all MLB call-ups and next week Rob Gordon will take a look at 10-12 prospects most likely to make a fantasy impact in the final month of the season.
