MINORS: The Eyes Have it - Royber Salinas

Honesty first: When a prospect is on the verge of breakout and they pass through town, it excites me more than seeing a top 50 prospect because the evaluation story hasn’t been written yet. Getting Matt McLain looks early was a super nice get for me. McLain entered the season as a borderline top 100 prospect who looks more like a top 50 prospect today. Sometimes a guy isn’t a top 30 prospect in their organization during the off-season. Then, they come out of the gate, dominating competition. Enter Royber Salinas.
