MINORS: 2022 Draft: Scouting round one

Welcome to the BaseballHQ’s coverage of the 2022 MLB Draft, an uneventful draft if you ignore the Rangers selecting Kumar Rocker (RHP, TEX) with the 3rd overall pick. The overall top prospect, Druw Jones (OF, ARI), did not go number one overall. Instead, the Orioles selected Matt Holliday’s kid, Jackson Holliday (SS, BAL) first overall. Baltimore is likely to sign Holliday for under slot, which has been their M.O. the past several drafts as they continue to rebuild the organization.
