This time of year, we get inundated with lists—lists upon lists of top prospects. Of course, we here at BaseballHQ.com take our lists seriously. The Organization Reports and the HQ100 list are highly scrutinized and debated. We continue our tradition of attempting to add color to the black-and-white HQ100 (which debuted last week) by offering observations, opinions, and insights. 

As we mentioned with the release of the HQ100, this year's list was a collaborative effort of six writers who cover the minors for BaseballHQ.com: Jeremy Deloney, Rob Gordon, Brent Hershey, Chris Blessing, Nick Richards, and Alec Dopp. Each writer submitted a personal Top 100 list, that we combined into the HQ100.
