MINORS: 2013 HQ100 in review

Now that the dust has settled on the 2013 minor league season, we take a look back at the HQ100 top prospect list to see how our team of minor league experts (Rob Gordon, Jeremy Deloney, Brent Hershey, Chris Mallonee, and Colby Garrapy) fared. In general, the list was remarkably accurate. Of the leading contenders for the AL/NL Rookie of the Year awards, only José Iglesias was not in our pre-season Top 100, and 18 of our top 30 prospects played in the majors. Below Jeremy Deloney and Rob Gordon highlight (in fives) some of the prospects who made the biggest impacts—for good or bad—in 2013.
