MINORS: 2012 Top First Base Prospects

This week we continue our annual review of the top prospects in baseball by position, this time with top 1B prospects. Similar to the catching crop outlined last week, the 1B position is very thin. Only four 1B appear in BaseballHQ.com's Top 100 prospect list entering the 2012 campaign.  Further, only one player figures to win a starting job in spring training, though others may see extensive action depending on many factors.  The dollar ranges listed below represent projected values for 2012 and are broken down in $5 dollar increments.
