Soto benefits from the CIN roster shuffle after Tony Cingrani (LHP, CIN) was optioned to AAA-Louisville after his May 17 start, with Johnny Cueto (RHP, CIN) not expected return from the DL May 20. In between, the Reds add an extra bat to the bench. Soto is a lean, athletic hitter with a lighting quick bat and plus raw power, which combined with his good strength, allows him to hit the ball with power to all fields.
