Signed by the Tampa Bay Rays out of Venezuela in 2012 for a hefty $1 million bonus. Mujica made steady progress through the low minors before having Tommy John Surgery in September 2018. The Rays released him in 2019 as he worked his way back from surgery and he missed the 2020 season as well...
